This page explains what data Impact Travel Alliance collects from visitors, how it is used, and your rights.
What we collect
Page-view analytics. We use a self-hosted instance of Plausible Analytics to track aggregate visitor behaviour: pages viewed, time on page, country (from IP, then discarded), and the source that brought you here. Plausible is privacy-first by design. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. The data is anonymised before it reaches the analytics dashboard.
Contact form submissions. If you fill out the contact form, we receive what you typed and the email address you provided. We use this to reply to you. We do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not share your information with anyone.
What we don’t do
We don’t run third-party advertising. We don’t use tracking pixels from Facebook, Google, or anyone else. We don’t sell or share your data. We don’t use cookies for tracking — only for essential WordPress functions if you log in to comment (which is currently disabled anyway).
Affiliate links
Some of the booking and product links on this site are affiliate links. If you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This helps cover the costs of running the site and the trips that produce its content. We only link to platforms and products we have used or would use ourselves, and the recommendation comes first — the affiliate code is added afterwards. We never adjust a recommendation because of a commission rate.
Your rights
If you’d like a copy of any data we hold about you, or want it deleted, please use the contact form to let us know. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.
